Full Mouth Implants Could Address Expensive Dental Concerns

Currently, about 3 million people have dental implants and that number is growing exponentially — increasing by as much as 500,000 people a year.

Unfortunately, dental implants aren’t cheap and many people are forced to live with pain in their mouth or even missing teeth. Thanks to some new innovations across the dental sector, full mouth dental implants could soon be a much more affordable teeth replacement option compared to conventional implant bridges.

According to Digital Journal, full mouth dental implants are great for people who are currently wearing full dentures or are about to receive dentures. They provide stable tooth replacement that is much more convenient, affordable, and better than traditional implant dentures.

“They also provide good support for cheeks and lips, preventing caving of facial appearance,” said Dr. Yasser Elseweifi, a dentist at Chicago’s Bucktown Dental Associates with more than 30 years of dental experience.

Scientific literature suggests that dental implants have a success rate of 98%, but are costly and typically don’t address the entire mouth. For dental patients with severe oral issues, full mouth implants can provide much-needed comfort, relief, and a boost to the teeth’s appearance.

Across the country, San Francisco has just unveiled a full mouth dental implant center to provide this innovative treatment to patients in need.

San Francisco Dental Implant Center has top-of-the-line surgeons that utilize cutting edge technology for oral surgery procedures like full mouth dental implants, tooth extraction, single tooth implants, and jaw surgery.

“We are located in San Francisco for a reason and it’s because we need to be where the latest in oral technology happens,” said Dr. Alex Rabinovich, chief oral surgeon of San Francisco Dental Implant Center. “That’s a benefit to our patients, too.”
