Yolanda Foster is finally moving on with her life following her divorce, says Entertainment Tonight.
The former supermodel and “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star split from her husband, music producer David Foster, this year.
In fact, it’s been a rocky year for Foster in general — she’s also been battling Lyme disease, with which she was diagnosed in 2012.
Yet despite this “Housewife’s” hardships, she’s still be using her platform to inspire others and has been posting regular updates about her new life on her Instagram (@yolandahfoster).
This October, Foster moved out of the 12,000-square-foot mansion she shared with David in Malibu, CA.
With roughly one million divorces in the country taking place each year, those who have ended their marriages or separated from a partner make up a significant portion of the 43 million Americans (about 16.8% of the population) who relocate each year.
For Foster, that meant moving into a condo in West Los Angeles. She shared a photo of her phone displaying the date she moved in (Dec. 11) on social media, with the caption “First day of the rest of my life #DefiningMoment #NewBeginnings #OneFootInFronttOfTheOther #HomeSweetHome.”
She also posted pictures of a friend coming to visit her, saying that her “bestie” had been “blessing” through the changes in her life.
Foster isn’t the only one moving on after divorce. This seemed to be the year of celebrity splits, from rocker couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale to Muppets Kermit and Miss Piggy.
The country music world was rocked by the end of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s marriage. Shelton, incidentally, left his wife and is now with Stefani, his Voice co-star.
But according to In Touch Weekly, Lambert seems to be doing just fine, and is even rumored to be getting cozy with singer Sam Hunt. Lambert and Hunt will be touring together next year.
A source close to the singers told Hollywood Life, “They have developed a solid friendship and love flirting with each other… He’s definitely helping her move on from Blake [Shelton] and that whole heartbreak.”
