Bob Costas’s cunning and naked remarks over the behavior of Russian government were a matter of shame.  He was clear in his perception and openly said that there is no sport which could help a government to save its ugly face. He said that the SOCHI Olympics went excellent but it did not address the fundamental truth. To him, the fundamental truth is the Russian government does not support gay rights; it captivates dissidents inhumanely and beckons the cruelest regime of Syria. He further said that “Sochi may help Putin to save his face to some extent but there is not an iota of Olympic glory which could hide the bitter realities”.
